The 5 Types of Christian Camp Campers - Which One Are You?

Christian Camp: where friendships are made, memories are lost (and then found again), and you'll either be friends for life or willfully forget the whole experience.

But let's face it, not everyone who attends Christian camp is as... well, friendly. No, we've got different types of people who come to Bible-filled fun times - and some are way more interesting than others!

The PKs (or close to it)

Meet the Pastor's Kids (PK): the ones who grew up with the Bible for breakfast, but never try to grill you on its finer points. They're like the Christian camp equivalent of a nice, friendly librarian - "I'll give you a Bible reference if you'd like, sir!" Yeah, those guys.

The Populars

Then there's the Populars: the ones who own the place (and everyone else too). They've got their little crew of followers, and they're always "that guy" who knows everything. (Except for that one thing... have you seen this guy's track record on dating?) It seems like they just show up with a smile, some fancy clothes, and a Bible that's only useful for impressing the ladies.

The Quiet Ones

Now we've got the Quiet Ones: the ones who are so quiet, you wonder if they even attended Christian camp. They're not really part of the crew at all - but then again, maybe they just prefer observing from the sidelines while everyone else does all the work. "Uh, can I have a copy of that Bible study?" "Uh, sorry, I think it's in the corner over there... somewhere..." Yeah, those guys.

Christian Camp Cheerleaders

We've also got the Christian Camp Cheerleaders: the ones who are just that darn happy all the time! You might want to sit down because they're so optimistic you'll be rolling your eyes (just kidding, kind of). They make everyone else feel welcome and included. Whether it's a game of capture the flag or an impromptu Bible study session, these girls keep things lively.

Camp Counselors

Last but not least, we've got the camp counselors: the ones who are always happy to help (and look... interestingly dressed). They might have lost their social skills in high school, but they can still teach you a thing or two about the importance of teamwork and leadership. It's like watching a dad try to be cool at his kid's birthday party - "Uh, what was that joke about rocks? Ha ha ha..."

In all seriousness, despite our differences, Christian camp is where memories are made, friendships are forged, and we discover new sides of ourselves (mostly the more awkward side). We'll make it through with or without our favorite counselor (who might be wearing bright blue spandex).
